Verle and Joann McCullough

Verle "Mac" and Joann McCullough will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary Saturday, September 8, 2007.

They were married Sept. 8, 1967 at the First Christian Church in Oklahoma City, Okla.

Mac is a 24 year Army veteran who served two tours in Vietnam. Joann is the mother of five children and was a true military wife.

After his retirement from the Army at Ft. Hood Texas in Oct. of 1980, they moved back to their home state of Oklahoma.

While on vacation to Las Vegas in 1988, they took a tour of Pahrump and moved here June 1, of the same year.

Later, they started Mac's Recycling in the south end of Pahrump.

Mac and Joann have five children, 14 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
