Many photographs are taken by Pahrump Valley Times staff members; still others are sent to the newspaper by special contributors.

This fall, hundreds of photos have been taken in all of the high school sports -- football, volleyball, soccer, cross country and golf -- as well as of action in Rosemary Clarke Middle School athletics and Pop Warner football.

The Pahrump Fall Festival produced almost as many photographs by award-winning photographer Horace Langford Jr., in its three-day run at McCullough Arena.

And with the winter sports seasons -- wrestling, as well as boys and girls basketball -- coming up, expect more of the same sparkling action.
