Best Friends Animal Society will host its second Super Cat Adoption Event at the Pahrump Nugget Saturday, Oct. 27, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Fifty of the 700-plus cats that were rescued from the former For Love of Cats and Kittens (FLOCK) sanctuary will be ready to be taken to loving homes.
