The Nevada Microenterprise Initiative (NMI) will host a small business resources and assistance forum from 4:30 to 7 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 30, at the Pahrump Nugget Events Center.

NMI is a designated women's business center and operates a "microloan" program.

The seminar is for those starting a business or taking it to the next level.

The program will offer information on how and where to get business financing, how to prepare a proper business plan or fine-tune an existing one, government contract opportunities and much more.

Participating resource partners include the U.S. Small Business Administration, Nevada Small Business Development, SCORE, the Pahrump Chamber of Commerce, Rural Nevada Development Corp. (RNDC), EDEN, USDA Rural Development, Pahrump Economic Development, Nevada JobConnect and several financial institutions.
