HORACE LANGFORD JR. / PVT The Pahrump Valley High School volleyball team, which played at home Tuesday against Boulder City in a Nevada Class 3-A League match, will be at home again Friday to take on league-leading Las Vegas Faith Lutheran. The best-of-five match starts at 5 p.m. The Lady Trojans lost 23-25, 25-16, 25-22, 19-25, 17-15 to Mesquite Virgin Valley (right) Friday to fall to 0-3 in the league. The Bulldogs ended a 54-match losing streak in the league, dating back to the 1999 season; they are 18-10 in all matches. Pahrump Valley is 10-15.
