With nine wrestlers going undefeated in four matches each, Pahrump Valley's high school team dazzled four opponents Wednesday in the River Valley, Ariz., Invitational tournament.

Coach Craig Rieger's team, which competes at the Boulder City Duals Saturday, went 4-0. The Trojans figure to run into more difficult opposition at Boulder, where the action begins at 9 a.m.

Bullhead City, Ariz., Mohave 62-15;

River Valley, 72-9;

Laughlin, 84-0, and

Parker, Ariz., 54-15.

The results, by weight class:

103 pounder Elliott Owens, 3-1; he was making his varsity wrestling debut in a weight class that was vacant all last season, when the Trojans swept the Southern Nevada Class 3-A league and regional titles, then finished second in the state tournament at Spanish Springs High School in Sparks;

112 Elias Armendariz, 4-0; he is a three-time state champion (twice at 103 and once at 112);

119 Josh Armendariz, 4-0; he replaces Jordan Booth in this weight class; Booth was third in the state last season;

125 Paul Miller, 4-0; he is a newcomer to the varsity team;

130 Chris DeMille, 4-0; he is another returning varsity-level starter;

135 Gueran Fenicle. 2-2; he has limited varsity experience;

140 Kyle Abreu, 3-1; he, too, has had varsity matches in past seasons;

145 James Chapman, 4-0; 'Kansas' won the state 135 title last season;

152 Matt Marshall, 2-2; this is his first varsity campaign;

160 Ande Floyd, 3-1; he has generated some exciting wins for the Trojans in the past;

171 Zach Weldon, 4-0; he was a third-place finisher in the 2006-2007 state tournament;

189 Joey Colucci, 4-0; he is one of several big men with varsity experience for the Trojans;

215 Pierce Henkel, 4-0; in 2007 state competiton, he was third;

285 Frank Lopez, 4-0; during the football season, he topped 300 pounds, but the third-place state finisher from 2006-2007 made the weight limit.
