Fire gutted this doublewide home Tuesday morning.

TUESDAY A.M.: Fire leaves family bereft
A fire that broke out shortly after 9 a.m. yesterday totally destroyed a doublewide that was in use as a family residence on the far west side.

LAS VEGAS -- If Pahrump Valley volleyball fans were in the Silverado High School gym for the Nevada State Championships Friday and Saturday, they would have seen the Trojans' Class 3-A experience end, as well what the future might hold for the program.
