Sharks sweep Bobcats

The Rosemary Clarke Middle School's football season ended Saturday, with the Sharks defeating Ely White Pine 33-0 in the A-team game and 35-0 in the B contest. Ryan Robison, 17, runs for yardage for the Sharks.

Rosemary Clarke's Middle School football teams closed the 2007 season on a highly-successful note Saturday.

The Sharks' A-team prevailed 33-0 against visiting Ely White Pine, while the B-team triumphed 35-0. The A-Team finished 4-4.

In the A-team game, Nathaniel Jacobi rushed for 59 yards on five carries and had three interceptions.

The A-Sharks totaled 196 yards rushing, when Sean Hegan gained 49 and scoring three touchdowns. Ryan Robison gained 47 yards, with Brandon Switzer adding 23 and Brandon Murphy 14.

Quarterback Ryan Hammar threw a 40-yard TD pass to Aaron Pike.

Details were not reported on the B-team game.

This season, Bret Hart was the head coach, with Preston Dockter and Matt Bennett assisting.
