PHOTO SHOCKER
HORACE LANGFORD JR. / PVT A contractor working on a new foundation on Zephyr Avenue was shocked with a 14,000-volt blast early Tuesday afternoon. He was using a float to finish a cement slab, but the pole made contact with one of Valley Electric Association's lines, according to Staci Behnke, marketing manager. The victim was taken to the hospital to be stabilized before being evacuated on a Flight for Life to Las Vegas, Behnke said. |
