The Nevada District 4 9-10 Year-Old All-Star baseball tournament starts today at Seastrand Park, hosted by the Cheyenne Little League in Las Vegas.

Pahrump's No. 1 team will play at 5:30 p.m. today at West Field against Lone Mountain Blue.

Pahrump No. 2 is on the East Field at 5:30 p.m. today to take on Summerlin North.

The tournament is double-elimination and will conclude July 10.

Winners' bracket games are Thursday at 5:30 p.m. and 7:45 p.m.; Friday at 5:30 p.m.; Monday at 7:45 p.m. and July 5 at 7:45 p.m.

Losers' bracket contests are at 5:30 p.m. and 7:45 p.m. Friday; 7 p.m. Saturday; Monday at 5:30 p.m.; 5:30 p.m. July 5; 7 p.m. July 6, and 7 p.m. July 7.

The championship round begins at 7 p.m. July 9. The if necessary game will be played at 7 p.m. July 10.

Entered are Lone Mountain Gold, Peccole, Western, Mountain Ridge, Red Rock, Cheyenne Blue, Spring Valley, Cheyenne White, and Summerlin South.

Pairings have not yet been determined for the 10-11, Major, Junior, and Senior Division tournaments, all to be played at Las Vegas-area sites.

The 10-11-year-olds will start July 6 at Childrens' Memorial Park at Lone Mountain. The Majors (11-12) will begin July 6 at Vista Park in Summerlin. Nothing has been announced for the Junior (13-14) Division, while the Senior playoffs start July 13 at Childrens' Memorial Park.
