PHOTO CAREFUL WITH FIRE
HORACE LANGFORD JR. / PVT Pahrump Valley firefighters were all over a recent sudden mesquite fire off South River Plate Drive. Such blazes are increasingly a risk as southern Nevada's severe drought continues. Earlier this week a golfer using an iron actually began a rapidly spreading fire near Reno when the club struck something in the fairway and created a spark. |
