NORTHBROOK, Ill. -- Utilities Inc. has announced the appointment of Larry Schumacher as Chief Executive Officer of the company.
Schumacher joined Utilities Inc. in 1992 as director of corporate accounting and became company president in 1994. Prior to joining Utilities Inc., Schumacher was a senior manager with Deloitte and Touche. He hold a bachelor of arts degree from Governors State University and a MBA from DePaul University.
Utilities Inc. was formed in 1965 to provide developers with an alternative method to obtain water and wastewater utility service. Today, Utilities Inc. operates over 500 utility systems in 17 states and serves over one million people.
