A Utah man was sentenced Tuesday in U.S. District Court in Reno for illegally taking 124 Nevada bobcats and violating the Lacey Act, a Federal law that prohibits trade in wildlife, fish, and plants that have been illegally taken, possessed, transported or sold.

Opinions sought on tag allocation in Elko meeting
Sportsmen are invited to provide their input on the Nevada Board of Wildlife Commissioners' tag allocation and application hunt process at an upcoming meeting in Elko. The Tag Allocation and Application Hunt Committee (TAAHC) will meet June 21 at 6 p.m. at the Nevada Department of Wildlife Office, 60 Youth Center Road, Elko.
