The Beatty High graduates listened patiently to the speakers, then switched their tassles after picking up their diplomas. 
Beatty High graduates later jubilantly tossed their mortarboards in the air after ceremonies concluded at the high school gym.  A happy group of 187 Pahrump Valley High School seniors graduated during commencement exercises June 7. 
Graduates filed into the football field to listen to a speech by valedictorian Reynaldo Veloz, and others, while dignitaries sat at the dias behind him, like keynote speaker Craig Rieger, the high school wrestling coach and principal Kent Roberts.
