Fely Quitevis, owner of Precious Properties,in Pahrump, graduated recently from the Harvard Business School Owner President Management Program.

The Owner President Management Program teaches participants how to assess their company's position, develop long-term strategies for change and create action plans.

It's designed for senior executives with a significant equity stake in their company and has been described by many as "a life-changing experience."

Quitevis took part in a three year program called Harvard Business Executive Education. She studied alongside 117 participants from 22 countries. Three of her classmates were billionaires.

"It was an amazing experience for me to be rubbing elbows with many wonderful people so wealthy and yet so friendly and down to earth businessmen and women. In 2009 we will have our first international alumni reunion to be held in India,' Quitevis said.

The Owner President Management Program was started at Harvard Business School in 1977. To date 4,000 alumni finished the program, Quitevis said she is the sixth Nevadan to take the course.
