Next 500 event slated July 14

The next Pahrump Valley 500 Club bowling tournament will be July 14 at the Nugget.

It will be a doubles no-tap event. Entry forms are available on the Web site, pahrumpbowlers.com, as well as at the Nugget Bowling Center and Terry Hand Realty.

Jan Johnston and Leo Kibbee bowled 1,346 to win a mystery doubles tournament recently. Johnston won the side pot with 794, with Jerry Neese grabbing the groupie side pot with 691. Sis Fronk won the 50-50.

Winners in a Pahrump Valley Tournament Bowling Club event held in May were Leon Netz-Richard Alderman, Ken Beasley-Perry Fugit, and Lee Hall-Bob Hall.

Also competing were Larry Blackburn-Jim Reyholds, Barbara Blackburn-Larry Blackburn, Jeff Wiest-Bill Martin, Dave Williams-Sandi Williams, and George Whittaker-Donna Whittaker.
