Pahrump Regional Planning Commissioners will meet twice next week.

A special meeting has been called at 3 p.m. Monday to continue discussions on approving the zoning map of the Pahrump regional planning district.

RPC members left a June 6 meeting which wasn't posted properly according to the Nevada Open Meetings Act.

Jack Sanders, former owner of the Pahrump Valley Winery, has a request for a conditional use permit to continue developing a vineyards winery project on Kellogg Road during the regular RPC meeting at 6 p.m. Wednesday.

Among other items on the regular meeting agenda, representatives of Sunstate Components of Nevada will appear back before the RPC to request rezoning of 12.95 acres on Ironwood Avenue to the new commercial manufacturing district for a proposed truss manufacturing facility.

The RPC will also consider rezoning 4.86 acres on 800 S. Margaret Street for light manufacturing.

A tentative map application is up for approval to subdivide 104 acres into 392 single-family residential lots and 26 common element lots on property between Oakridge Avenue and Homestead Road, north of Kellogg Road.

Curt Scheppman is requesting a zone change on 27 acres at 100 W. Basin Avenue to the neighborhood commercial district to expand the Sunset Mobile Home Park as a recreational vehicle park.

Otto and Beverly McCoy have applied to change property to mixed use at 6210 S. Hawkins Way for various commercial and residential uses.

Walter and Ondine Bradshaw want to change the zoning on Mandy Avenue, south of the intersection of Big Horn Street, to construct duplexes, triplexes, fourplexes, townhouses and apartments.

Other duplex, triplex and fourplex apartments and townhouses are being considered for 3320 E. Zolin AVenue, just east of Homestead Road.
