'Click it or Ticket' campaign startsPVT
If the television commercials asking you to "Click it or Ticket" don't convince you law enforcement agencies mean it when they tell you to fasten your seat belt, then the statistics will. The first two weeks of the public safety campaign, enforced by all law enforcement agencies and funded by a "Joining Forces" grant, led to a noticeable amount of citations for Nevada motorists. In the Pahrump region alone, there were eight seat belt violations, as well as two child seat violations. A whopping 119 speeding citations were issued to motorists with a heavy foot, capped off by 15 drivers license violations. Nine drivers who were stopped by law enforcement officers were uninsured. |
