Can you remember the last time it rained in the Pahrump Valley? Believe it or not, there is water in the region, as the photograph of the Amargosa River Canyon illustrates.

Caleb Hill, Chris Hill, and Sean Shepard enjoy the opening of the Pahrump Municipal Pool, which opened for the season Memorial Day weekend. Temperatures that neared 100 degrees over the weekend made the local pool a refreshing alternative, though a cool front made temperatures more comfortable by mid week. Still, it would be really cool if someone could find a way to generate some soaking rains in Pahrump.
