LITTLE LEAGUE Baseball playoffs continuePVT Pahrump Little League baseball playoffs will have a day-long marathon Saturday at Honeysuckle Park, as the season moves toward District 4 tournament play later this month. In the Minor Division Saturday, the River Dogs will play the Hooks at 8 a.m., and at 10:30 a.m., the Raptors will play a team to be determined. At 4:30 p.m., the Storm and Defenders will clash in a winners' bracket contest. Remaining Minor Division playoff games are at 6:30 p.m. Monday, 6 p.m. Wednesday, and 6 p.m. Friday. And if necessary, a contest is Saturday at a time to be announced. In the Major Division, a losers' bracket game is slated at 7 p.m. Saturday, with the championship contest slated at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday. In the Junior Division, the Rangers play a team to be announced at 6 p.m. Saturday. The Cardinals and Padres played Thursday, with the loser to take on the Rangers. The championship game is at 6 p.m. Tuesday. Pahrump's Senior Division team will play at 10 a.m. Saturday, with the Summerlin South Rangers the opposition in a doubleheader. Other Senior Division games involving Pahrump Valley will be played Wednesday at Rainbow Park in Las Vegas; June 9, at home vs. the Red Rock Cardinals, and a makeup date against the Red Rock A's. |
