HENDERSON --TCU is the preseason pick to win the Mountain West Conference football title.

That's according to a poll of the league media representatives -- who also picked Horned Frog running back Aaron Brown and defensive end Tommy Blake as preseason offensive and defensive players of the year.

2006 conference champion BYU is the preseason pick to finish second in the poll released during Mountain West Conference media days today and tomorrow at the Green Valley Ranch hotel-casino in Henderson.

Utah is picked to finish third -- followed by New Mexico fourth and Wyoming fifth.

Colorado State, Air Force, San Diego State and UNLV round out the conference picks.
