DON McDERMOTT / PVT More than 100 youngsters from the Pahrump Valley participated in a football camp Saturday at Rosemary Clarke Middle School. Most will play Pop Warner under the direction of Joe Clayton (in dark T-shirt), while others will play for the Rosemary Clarke Middle School team, to be coached by Bret Hart. The camp was also run under the direction of former NFL player Chad Ward (in gray T-shirt at right), a University of Washington grad and now a high school coach in that state. 
DON McDERMOTT / PVT Helping supervise the kids is Bob Bruce (in maroon cap). Pop Warner workouts will begin Aug. 1, with three teams slated to compete. Clayton, Thom Walker and Robert Worden will be the coaches. |
