The annual Pahrump Valley Junior Golf Association's Gene Goins Memorial is July 23-24 at the Lakeview Executive course, with play starting at 3 p.m. each day.

Meanwhile, the series of weekly tournaments continued, with the final pre-Goins warmup Monday at the Executive.

Craig Moore shot a 42 to win the boys' 7-8 division July 2 at the Lakeview Executive course. Marc Worden had 46 to finish second in a nine-hole round on the 18-hole par 59, 3,600-yard course.

Lucas Tietjen and Dakota Jersic both had 50s, while Tyler Floyd was at 51, and Andrew Blodgett 55. Zoe Bertz was the only 9-11 girl, shooting 41.

Nicole Matsui had 45 and Alex Milliron 53 to finish 1-2 in the girls' 7-8 division. Aubrey Erickson and Courtney Jersic each had 60.

In the boys' 9-11 tournament, Kyle Steib won with 40. Derek Moore and Samuel Tietjen each shot 42. Tristan Kountz had 48, Parker Erickson 52, Colton Hall 54, and Joshua Willing 55. Noah Milliron had 57.

In the boys' 12-14 division, Daniel Shimakawa had 38-35--73, Josh Spradlin 41-36--77, and Anthony Worden 36-42--78. Shawn Dixon had 50 over nine holes.

Sierra Fitzgibbons had 43-43--86 to win the girls' 12-14 title. Shyanne Dixon had 51-41--92, with Ashley Myers at 52 over nine holes.

In the boys' 15-18 division, Isaac Shook had 42-44--86, with Daniel Spradlin at 51-51--102.

Ashley Keller shot 35-36--71 to win the girls' 15-18 division. Hailey Forry had 46-40--86.

In a tournament played Monday, Lucas Tietjen won the boys' 7-8 title with 39, a stroke ahead of Chance Walker.

Marc Worden had 42, Dakota Jersic 47, Joe Koenig 50, Tyler Floyd 52, and Devin Ronnow 53.

In girls' 9-11 action, Catherine Miskiewicz had 52, Lauren Koenig 53, Lillian Calvert 58 and Emily Ursprung 59.

Anthony Worden had 38-40--78 to win the boys' 12-14 title. Josh Spradlin had 39-44--83, and Shawn Dixon had 48-53--101.

In girls' 7-8 competition, Nicole Matsui had 50, Courtney Jersic 53, Shelby Brown 55, Bethany Calvert 58, Rylee Hamlin 59, and Aubrey Erickson 60.

Kyle Stieb and Samuel Tietjen each had 46 in the boys' 9-11 tournament. Joshua Willing had 51, Connor Ursprung 55, John Miller 56, and Colton Hall 59.

Shyanne Dixon had 48-48--96 in girls' 12-14, with Emilyne Biggs at 51-52--103.

Ashley Keller shot 36-40--76 in girls' 15-18, which had Jasper Biggs score 43-41--84 and Meghan Morales 45-50--95.

Isaac Shook led the 15-18 boys with 42-40--82, while Daniel Spradlin had 54-55--109.
