Nonprofit, 501-3c organizations will now have the opportunity to sell beer at the Fall Festival now that the Pahrump Town Board approved a proposal for a new selection process.

In previous years, the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post traditionally ran the beer booths, one of the larger fundraisers at the festival.

Interested groups are asked to submit a letter of intent to the town office within the next 30 days. The applicants' names will be placed in a hat out which three names will be drawn.

The specific location of the three booths at the festival will also be selected at that time.
