PHOTOS FIRE AND ICE
MARK SMITH AND MARK WAITE / PVT An afternoon Independence Day fire on Blackrock Avenue did in a double-wide home but caused no serious injuries, although one firefighter was hospitalized with heat exhaustion. 
Rene Ortiz had a cool job in the recent summer broil -- he works at Cook's Ice House, filling up bags of ice and loading them in a refrigerated trailer cooled to 10 degrees. |
