Special to the PVT"The Buck Stops Here," his nickname Buck, passed away from natural causes June 15, 2007. He was 38. Buck carried the American flag at several rodeos, helped children to ride, and at 31 he was ridden in the Pahrump Valley Cowgirls Drill Team. He was a community hero, said Susan Carreras, and many people loved him. He received a standing ovation for his retirement at the 2006 PRCA Rodeo, above. "He was a faithful friend and will be missed," said Carrera. "Thank you to everyone who's called to express their sympathy and love for Buck."
