Dojo competes in Vegas

Students of Dragon Cloud Dojo, USA, competed in the recent 2007 USA World Championship for International Martial Arts Council at the South Point Casino in Las Vegas.

Competitors came from as far away as Mexico, Hawaii as well as other states.

First-place winners were Jerry Hall, for 50-and-over Sparring. Tom Wujek Jr. won two first-place trophies, one in Traditional Forms and one in Kenpo Forms over 40.

Second-place winners were Rusty Taylor, 40 and over Sparring, Lissette Vega, 14-year-old Sparring, Matthew Morgan, 11-14-year-old Traditional Forms.

Third place winners were Anthony Vega, who won three third-place trophies, one for 11-year-old Sparring and one each for Traditional and Kenpo Forms. Lissette Vega won third place for Forms in the 14-year-old category and Tai Jade Saunders for 13-year-old Sparring.

Jessey Richardson won fourth in 10-to-13-year-old Sparring.

Lia Sarandos received honorable mention for 8-year-old Traditional Forms, Scotty Taylor won Honorable Mention for 14-15-year-old Sparring, Natalia Colon won honorable mention in 10-13-year-old Traditional Forms.
