Mr. and Mrs. Claus to marry

Melody Pelletier and Fred Pyle will marry Saturday, July 7. This special one-of-kind wedding is Christmas in July. The groom will be dressed as Santa and the bride as Mrs. Claus since it is Christmas year-round at their home.

A Santa bear loaned by Ace Hardware will greet the included as they enter, next to a nativity set also provided by Ace Hardware. The guests will see seven ducks/geese a swimming on the pond.

The best man will be the groom's sister, Mar Perry and maid of honor will be Jana Alduenda, the bride's sister from Hesperia, Calif. Flower girl, Sierra, the bride's niece, will be carrying a wreath and sprinkling snow. Ring bearer, Dillon Osinski, groom's nephew, will be carrying a wrapped present for presenting the rings. With Pastor Bob Lewis officiating, the bride and groom will be pronounced man and wife at approximately 7:07 and the bride's children will be singing "I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus."

The ceremony will be followed by a traditional Christmas dinner at the Pahrump Nugget created buy chef Jeff and his whole crew. A Yule log, "Buche de Noel" will be for a wedding cake decorated by Tamara Trudeau. Chef Duane Rose at Saddle West has graciously orchestrated mini pumpkin bowls carved with the bride and groom's name and date to be served with pumpkin soup as a first course.

The bride and groom will head north for their honeymoon in October to get ready for Christmas.
