HORACE LANGFORD JR. / PVT Pahrump Valley High School fans don't have many more opportunities to fill the gym and root for the Trojans this winter sports season. The boys' basketball team is at home today at 5:30 p.m. against Amargosa Valley Horizon Academy. Tuesday, it's a Southern Nevada Class 3-A League girls and boys doubleheader against Mesquite Virgin Valley. On Feb. 8, the boys entertain Las Vegas The Meadows; on Feb. 9, Faith Lutheran is here for a 3-A twin bill, and on Feb. 10, Pahranagat Valley Alamo's boys and girls teams will play the Trojans in the PVHS gym to end the regular season. Incidentally, The Meadows, Faith Lutheran and Alamo boys all won state championships in the 2005-2006 season, while the Alamo girls claimed the state 1-A title. That should give fans plenty of reasons to show up.
