GOING UP: Pahrump building could accelerate
Building permits issued in the Pahrump Valley for 2006, not counting the month of December, were down about 30 percent from the entire preceding year.

TROJANS 18-3 IN 2006: PV girls 3-2 at 'Bulldog'
LAS VEGAS -- Between Friday and Feb. 9, the Pahrump Valley girls' basketball team will play eight Southern Nevada Class 3-A games, before they close their regular season at home Feb. 10 against defending state 1-A champion Pahranagat Valley Alamo.
