The Pahrump High School rodeo team will host a two-day event in McCullough Arena Saturday and Sunday.

High school teams from all over Nevada will compete in the rodeo, starting at 8 a.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. Sunday.

This will be the fifth rodeo of the season, with prior competition at Ely, Pahranagat Valley, Boulder City and Las Vegas.

Future rodeos will be March 17-18 at Fernley, March 24-25 at Yerington, March 31-April 1 at Churchill County (Fallon), April 14-15 at Carson, April 21-22 at Battle Mountain, April 27-28 at Lincoln County, May 5-6 at Washoe County, May 12-13 at Elko, May 19-20 at Wells, and May 26-27 at Eureka.

The state championships will be decided June 14-17 at Winnemucca, and the National High School Finals Rodeo will be July 23-29 at Springfield, Ill.
