![]() Gary Stephen Nordby Gary Stephen Nordby, 61, passed away Dec. 19 at his home in Pahrump. He was born June 15, 1946 in Wisconsin and lived in Pahrump for the last 23 years, coming from Las Vegas. He was employed as a crane operator for the operator's union, retiring five years ago. He served in the Army during wartime and belonged to the Elks Club and VFW. He was of the Lutheran faith. His sons Nate (Tiffany) Nordby of Pahrump, Jake (Kacee) Nordby of Canon City, Colo.; sisters Carol (John) Garre and Becky (Steve) Monson, both of Pine City, Minn., and five grandchildren survive him. His parents Sigvald and Ellen Nordby preceded him in death. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 29 at Water from the Rock Christian Fellowship located at 1370 E. Matthew Lane (across from Smith's). Pahrump Family Mortuary handled the arrangements. (12/19/2007) ![]() Pamela Moore Pamela Moore, 56, passed away Dec. 19, 2007 in Pahrump. She was born May 12, 1951 in Allentown, Pa and has lived in Pahrump for the last 21 years, coming from Las Vegas. She was the owner of Paul Moore Sand and Gravel. Her son Marvin (Sonya) Bawden of Las Vegas; daughter Rachel Moore (David Hollis) of Pahrump; step-daughter Paula Kay (Steve) Baldridge of Burton, Mich; step-son Barry (Missy) Moore of Sandy Valley; sister Debbie (Jess) Nelson of Las Vegas; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; all her little "darlings" survive her. Services were held Wednesday, Dec. 26 at the Pahrump Church of Christ, 911 S. Lola Lane. (12/19/07) |
