Ian G. Gordon, 26, of Pahrump was arrested recently for his alleged involvement in a sexual assault on a minor under the age of 16.

Gordon voluntarily arrived at the sheriff's office Tuesday, Dec. 18, to provide a statement about an incident that occurred in July.

On July 30 a 15-year-old female reported to the sheriff's office that Gordon had forced her to ingest pills and alcohol, after which Gordon sexually assaulted her.

During his Dec. 18 interview, Gordon reportedly admitted to detectives that he did have sex with the victim and that he gave her alcohol during the incident.

Two days later Gordon was arrested at his residence and booked on charges of sexual assault of a victim under 16 and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

His bail was set at $50,632.

Gordon has a separate case of sexual assault pending against him by the district attorney's office.
