A routine traffic stop led to the arrest of Mitchel Vaughn, 27, and Michelle Kay Strickland-McNally, age not indicated, Saturday, Nov. 24.

During the course of the stop, K-9 Dep. Hoss suggested there were was marijuana hidden under the right front passenger floorboard of the vehicle.

According to the sheriff's office, that, combined with additional information learned at the scene, led to the arrests of both Vaughn and Strickland-McNally. They were booked on charges of possession of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia and being under the influence of a controlled substance.

Their bail amount was not given on the sheriff's office press release.
