FIRST GAMES SATURDAY Pop Warner teams set for the seasonPVT
Pahrump Valley's Pop Warner football teams play their 2007 openers Saturday, at Canyon Springs and Las Vegas high schools. The Rush plays the Redskins at noon, while the Trojans take on the Buccaneers at 2 p.m. at Canyon Springs. At Las Vegas at noon, the Sharks tangle with the Cowboys. On the Sharks, comprised of players five to seven years old, are: Jeremy Albertson, Trevor Brown, Brandon Burgess, Ryan Burgess, Brendan Chumley, Braiden Daly, Tyler Floyd, Ashton Gent, Dylan Grossnell, and Justin Hallenback. Also, Joe Koenig, Seth Lyons, Rayce Martinez, Kyrus McCutcheon, Noah McCutcheon, Vincent Mestas, Blaine Moore, Kody Peugh, Camden Puckett, and Christian Puckett. Also, Justin Soliwoda, Zachary Treib, Nicolas Valezquez, Morgan White, Trevor Winterton, and Marc Worden. On the Rush (8 to 11) are Garrett Albertson, Michael Aviles, Logan Bitters, Zack Clayton, Kevin Daffer, Tyler Deabenderfer, Patrick Duvall, and Austin Engeldahl. Also, Joseph Pickett, Thomas Gascoigne, Kenneth Henderson, Nathaniel Henry, Izaac Holmes, Jeremy Kiser, and Tony Martinez. Also Spencer Mestas, Christopher Moffet, Case Murphy, Ty Olsen, Jagger Roche, and Antonio Sandoval. Also, Austyn Sly, Christian Taylor, Nathan Trudeau, Drew Walker, Wesley Warren, Jacob Wenstrup, Luke Wenstrup, and Logan White. The Trojans (11-12) include Luke Burgess, Lane Busby, Jace Clayton, Jaxon Clayton, Zack Coleman, Kameron Daly, and Brandon Donohue. Also, Nick Doubleday, Jonathon Hallenback, Andrew Lucero, Izaiah Lyons, Scott Maughan, Mack Morian, and Jesse Norris. Also, James Pena, Isack Rodriguez, Robert Schultz, Samuel Tucsnak, Tyler Velasco, Cole Verbic, Kyle Walker, and Quinton Ward. The three teams will play on the Pahrump Valley High School field Sept. 8, with games at 10 a.m., noon, and 2 p.m. |
