Prepare for a 'grizzly' ride
By MARY BALDASANO
What's a man to do if he doesn't mind working for someone, but really wants to run his own business? Well, Jerry Pribila and wife, Deb decided to try something related to what they both love--the outdoors. Three Rivers Outfitters, operated by internet and cell phone, began as any Nevada business would--a gamble. Individuals can rent ATVs by the hour with arrangement made by website--threeriversoutfitters.net, or by cell phone at 702-325-6156. This Army veteran/business man is offering a fun time in nature for those who don't care for the usual Nevada vacation, or for those who want to take a break from the casinos. The equipment is delivered to the renter for use or just to view before renting. Groups of two or more can make special arrangements for trips or special use, which of course will reflect on price by destination. Gentlemen, do you and your family have an adventurous soul? Maybe get a twinkle in your when you think of conquering the desert on an ATV or just going camping at Red Rock or fishing at Lake Mead? Well, Pribila can educate you about doing just that. He offers his clients the means and opportunity to ride an ATV anywhere they may want to roam. Pribila stated "I'll take any equipment you want to any place you want your camp set up and have it ready for you to walk into camp and feel at home. They should be sure to read state and local maps to find the best places to enjoy." An outdoorsman all his life, Pribila said "It's like a calling and a lot of fun. I like seeing others enjoy themselves." He also hopes to provide guided tours soon. He currently has seven ATVs (Yamaha Grizzly 350s, Polaris Trail Boss 330s) available for renting, as well as camping/fishing equipment for all ages. Some discounts may be available as well. Operation of the equipment is explained prior to leaving on the ride, and a maintenance check will be performed by the renter. Costs range from a three hour minimum ride for $105.00 to special arrangements for eight hours or longer at special rates. Deposits are required in advance and a 72-hour cancellation notice is required or a $100.00 fee will be charged. Camping/fishing packages range from a one day basic package cost of $50.00 to a two day outfitters package of $200.00. Additional days are charged separately, and weekly rates are quoted upon request. Packages consist of "basic," "deluxe" and "outfitter" with everything you will need to enjoy a desert or woodland excursion. Fisherman are given either open face, fly rod/reel and/or kiddy poles, a tackle box and other basic equipment with cost based on requested items. Three Rivers Outfitters can also be reached via email at info@threeriversoutfitters.net. Be adventurous, maybe even plan a corporate retreat or family reunion in the Wild West--have a 'grizzly' ride into the wilds. |
