AT SPEEDWAY Pearson, Simoneau among main winnersPVT
Wade Pearson won the Bomber class at the Pahrump Valley Speedway Saturday night. J.J. Nunn was second in the race, contested on the quarter-mile dirt oval. Also racing were Steven Creech, Anthony Finley, Dale Wolters, Gary Wyatt, and Fred Kiser Jr. Completing the grid were Jim Sherard, Phil Goodwin, Bryan Gerald, Richard Weseman, Jason Grey, and Fred Harding. In the mini-stock main, Tony Martin won, with Terri Hiser second and Michael Brown third. Anthony Broadhead was fourth, followed by Carl England Jr., Jonathan Burch, Greg Prince, Richard Weseman, Chad Broadhead, Ron Brown, and Robert Pearson. Rick Gast won the modified mini feature, with Keith Young second and John Dearborn third. Cody Wilde, Bubba Ray, Dan Wilde, Jeff Mitchell, and Eric Slusher completed the field. In the coupes division, David Bangs was the winner, with Justin Beiger second and Hiser third. Richard Grimm and Chris Hewitt also raced. Bryan Wulfenstein won the modified feature, with Donny Berger second and Jeff Talley third. Eric Shenberger and Joe Rogers Jr. also raced. Corey Simoneau was the super stock feature winner for the first time this season. Jim McCoy was second, followed by Daniel Katzer, Ron Moffitt, Russ Meads, Jason Hales, Don Howell, Eric Henderson, and Dale Daffern. The speedway will feature auto racing Saturday, starting at 7:30 p.m. |
