Michael Gogerty, 41, a fifth-grade teacher at Hafen Elementary school, appeared in federal court in Las Vegas last Thursday on charges of possessing and receiving child pornography over the Internet. Gogerty, who lives in Las Vegas, was reportedly deemed a threat to the community by the judge and ordered to remain in custody.
