Sheriff's report

The following information was provided by the Nye County Sheriff's Office. All crimes are alleged and all defendants are presumed innocent:

At Pahrump:

Ann Briggs, 38, of Pahrump was booked into Pahrump jail Aug. 9 on domestic battery charge. Bail was set at $3,000.

Matthew Green, 27, of Pahrump was booked in Pahrump jail Aug. 10 on charges of failure to stop, unlawful possession of burglary tools, disobeying directions of traffic control, reckless driving, driving suspended, no proof of insurance, unregistered vehicle and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $8,462. He was released on his own recognizance with conditions per Judge Brisebill after a court date was set.

Daniel Stepp, 31, of Pahrump was booked into Pahrump jail Aug. 10 and charged with DUI-alcohol, reckless driving, evade, driving without a driver's license, no insurance, failure to surrender license, turning violations and unregistered vehicle. Bail was set at $3,079.

Benny Green, 49, of Pahrump was booked into Pahrump jail Aug. 10 on three Pahrump Justice Court warrants for failure to appear. Bail was set at $6,900.

Terrance Cox, 37, of Amargosa Valley was booked into Pahrump jail Aug. 12 and charged with DUI-alcohol with accident, hit and run, failure to stop on a signal of a peace officer, reckless driving, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and under the influence of a controlled substance. Bail was set at $9,329.

Alfred McKinney, 39, of Pahrump was booked into Pahrump jail Aug. 13 on charges of battery with a deadly weapon. Bail was set at $5,000.

Valerie Waterbury-Goetz, 46, of Pahrump was booked into Pahrump jail Aug. 14 on a Pahrump Justice Court warrant for failure to appear for possession of a dangerous drug without a prescription. Bail was set at $5,000.
