Pahrump Valley Chamber of Commerce officials cut the ribbon for the new G-POD, or Green Power on Demand, store at the Nevada West Plaza on Highway 160. The company sells an electronic energy reader designed to help customers monitor their power usage and cut costs. Pictured from left are Sally Keeney, a chamber employee, Paul A. Lopez, owner of the business, Ms. Senior Golden Years 2007 Linda Turner, chamber Vice President Dan Rodriguez and Brian Strain, a chamber board member. Lopez will host a seminar at the Pahrump Nugget Wednesday to talk about saving energy.
