A third grant of $198,400 was accepted by Nye County commissioners last week to help pay for infrastructure at the Pahrump/Nye County fairgrounds.

Glover sentenced to life without parole
Jeffrey Ray Glover, of Pahrump, was sentenced in Pahrump District Court Monday to life imprisonment without the possibility of parole.

Four years ago Robert and Cherie Burgess purchased the Seemore's ice cream stand on Highway 372. The stand has been very profitable for them and has allowed them to grow to the point where they have now opened a second Seemore's -- a really sweet deal.
