At Pahrump Valley, boys went through various drills under the direction of coach Brian Hug (below). At Beatty, Gus Sullivan was in charge of the Hornets; at Tonopah, Curt McElroy was directing the Muckers, and at Round Mountain, James Swigart was coaching the Knights. Contact drills cannot begin until Monday, when work begins in earnest for the Class 3-A Trojans, as well as the 1-A Hornets, Muckers and Knights.
