Edward and Dawn Guyer, both 34, were killed in a three-vehicle accident on Highway 95 near mile marker 18, near Mercury, at about 5:12 p.m. last Tuesday.

According to the sheriff's office, a white semi truck with two trailers, a small, red Chevrolet sedan and a Ford Explorer that burned were all involved in the accident.

There were five passengers in the three vehicles, but only the Guyers were identified by the sheriff's office.

One passenger was transported to Las Vegas by Mercy Air, and two were transported by ground ambulance.

The Guyers were pronounced dead at the scene.

The accident is currently under investigation by the Nevada Department of Public Safety, Highway Patrol Division.
