Supporters for Democratic presidential hopeful Bill Richardson will throw a barbecue for the public from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 11, by the horseshoe pit at Petrack Park.

The campaign will provide the basic barbecue essentials: hot dogs, hamburgers, buns, soda and water. Anyone wishing to bring along a favorite dish is welcome to do so.

Members of Richardson's campaign staff will be there to discuss the candidate's campaign and issues the governor believes to be important to residents of Pahrump and the surrounding area.
