Jason Bosse, 27, was arrested on a long list of charges July 23 when a separate sheriff's office investigation led to further incriminating information about him.

Dep. John Bergstron was dispatched to the Saddle West Casino for a narcotics call.

During the course of that investigation, Street Crime Unit and Narcotics Task Force deputies obtained information about Bosse.

Bosse allegedly called one of the street crime deputies on the officer's cell phone and threatened him. Officers eventually contacted Bosse at his residence, where he was arrested.

A search warrant was applied for which upon execution led officers to find a plethora of incriminating material. Drug paraphernalia, a scale and multiple plastic bags were found inside the residence.

In addition, a reported stolen vehicle from Las Vegas was recovered from the garage.

Bosse was booked on a wide array of charges, including intimidating a public officer, two counts of child neglect (the reason for those charges was not specified in the sheriff's office release), possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, sale of marijuana, five counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a dangerous drug without a prescription, possession of a hypodermic device, attempted possession of a false prescription, and possession of a stolen vehicle.

Bosse is in the detention system, held on $40,000 bail.
