Pahrump Valley's Senior Division Little League baseball team fell to 0-2 in the Western Regionals at Salem, Ore., Monday, bowing 16-1 to Columbus Granite Peak, Montana, in Pool A action.

On Sunday, the Nevada champions lost 10-5 to the San Diego Patriot League All-Stars.

Today, Pahrump Valley plays the Port Washington Little League out of South Jefferson, Wash., at 1 p.m. Friday at 1 p.m., pool play concludes with Pahrump Valley taking on Illinois Valley, Ore.

In other regional games, it was Washington 15, Oregon 5; defending regional champion Hawaii 10, Alaska 1; Northern California 15, Idaho 5, and Hawaii 11, Arizona 1.

The top two teams in both Pool A and Pool B play for the regional championship Monday and Tuesday, with the victor advancing to the Senior Division World Series at Bangor, Maine.
