Anniversary
Ray and Irene Wulfenstein Ray and Irene Wulfenstein will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Thursday. They were married Aug. 2, 1957 in the St. George, Utah Latter Day Saints temple. The couple resided in Las Vegas from 1957 until 1972 where they owned an independent paint and drywall business, and where Ray raced stock cars as "the Stormin' Mormon." In 1972 they moved to Pahrump with their four children. They opened a real estate business and soon after began Wulfenstein Construction. The couple have seen Pahrump grow from expansive farmland and just a few hundred residents to what it is today. The Wulfensteins now have 15 grandchildren and one great-grandchild due the first of next year. |
