Nye County Sheriff's Deputy David Boruchowitz was dispatched Sept. 16 to an address for a report of a burglary and larceny of a four-wheeler and dirt bike.

During the course of the investigation, Boruchowitz located several suspects (names still withheld) and was led to 51 Bluebird St., where the stolen property had allegedly been left.

When deputies went to that address, they were unable to locate anyone but discovered evidence of marijuana cultivation.

Patrol deputies, members of the Street Crime Unit and Narcotic Task Force executed a search warrant on the property and recovered approximately 100 marijuana plants and stolen property allegedly taken from the earlier burglary.

Several individuals have been arrested and the investigation is ongoing. Further personal information about those involved is being withheld and will be released as the investigation comes to an end.
