Sheriff's Report

The following information was provided by the Nye County Sheriff's Office. All crimes are alleged and all defendants are presumed innocent:

At Pahrump:

Elmer Miranda-Aldana, 36, was booked Sept. 6 charged with eight counts of possession of fictitious bills. Bail was set at $40,000.

Adam Holt, 22, was booked Sept. 7 charged with under the influence of controlled substance, possession of hypodermic device and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $6,264.

Danny McAndrews, 59, was booked Sept. 7 charged with domestic battery. Bail was set at $3,000.

Peter O'Rear, 32, was booked Sept. 8 charged with attempted home invasion, injury to other property and obstructing police officer. Bail was set at $6,264.

Cade Leach, 32, was booked Sept. 8 charged with failure to appear for issuing checks without sufficient funds. Bail was set at $5,000.

Robert Simmons, 36, was booked Sept. 8 charged with three warrants for failure to appear for sentencing (bail to be set). Also charged with driving while suspended (bail $510) and grand larceny (bail $5,000).

David Mattsen, 61, was booked Sept. 9 charged with sex offender failure to register. Bail was set at $5,000.

Robert Medved, 21, was booked Sept. 10 charged on two warrants for failure to appear for court dates. Bail was set at $20,000.

Leslie Stewart, 21, was booked Sept. 12 charged with warrant for possession of meth with intent to sell and conspiracy to violate Uniform Controlled Substance Act. Bail was set at $15,000.

John Dowling, 37, was booked Sept. 12 charged with possession of controlled substance and possession of dangerous drug without prescription. Bail was set at $12,000.
