The Pahrump Valley High School soccer teams earned shutout victories at Mesquite Virgin Valley Thursday in non-Southern Nevada Class 3-A League matches.

The boys won 1-0 on Alex Fonseca's goal, while the Lady Trojans prevailed 4-0 on scores by Brittany Orr, Angelica Musumeci, Brittany Thomason and Stephany Ledford.

Both teams played Las Vegas Faith Lutheran Tuesday.

Thursday, the PV girls go to Overton Moapa Valley, while the boys are at home against the Pirates to open league home-and-home competition.
